Praised be Jesus Christ through Mary!
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus,
The month of January is dedicated to devotion to the Most Holy Name of Jesus: let us reverently pray His Holy Name and make reparation to our good Lord for the many times that His Name is spoken with irreverence, ingratitude and hatred!
As we look ahead to February, we will be blessed to have some spe-cial devotions to help us grow in love with our Lord Jesus. Next Sun-day, February 2, we will celebrate the Presentation of our Lord in the Temple or Candlemas. Traditionally a procession with candles and the blessing of candles takes place. If you would like to have any candles blessed for use in your home, please bring them to Holy Mass next weekend. Also, I will bless devotional candles that will be avail-able for a donation.
This weekend I share with the Litany of the Holy Name of Jesus - that we may honor and offer reparation for offenses against His Holy Name on this last Sunday of January!

and deed, and never cease praising You.
Give us, O Lord, as much a lasting fear as a lasting love of Your Holy Name, for You, who live and are King forever and ever, never fail to govern those whom You have solidly established in Your love. R. Amen.
Through the intercession of Mary, the Mother of God, St. Joseph and our patrons, St. Michael and St. Paul, may Holy Name of Jesus be al-ways loved and adored in our hearts and in our speech!
In Christ through Mary,
Fr. Kasel
