Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus,
This past Friday, June 7, 2024, we celebrated the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus is a beautiful way of loving and consoling the Sacred Heart of our Lord Jesus. Jesus desires that we offer expiation for the sins of the human family and offer reparation or acts of love to Him in the place of so many souls who reject His Love and refuse to show love and thanksgiving in return to Him.
During this month of June, I encourage all of us to continue to grow in our love and devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. This week I include the Litany of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
Also: would you be willing to offer this Litany each day for the remainder of this month? Be sure to include your intentions and petitions as part of this prayer. Let us also pray for our Holy Father, Pope Francis, Archbishop Hebda, Bishop Wil-liams, Bishop Izen, all the priests and deacons in our Archdio-cese, for the spiritual needs of all of our parishioners and all the people who live in our surrounding communities.
Thank you for your willingness to grow in this devotion, which is so greatly desired by Jesus and so richly blessed by Him!
